Job summary

Johnson Controls Systems & Service Ltd - HVAC Ireland seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to own control system design for European air-cooled chillers. You will lead model-based design, validate performance in the Dublin lab, and mentor engineers while coordinating with global teams.

The role requires hands-on development from concept through release, with responsibility for control sequences, safety, and regulatory compliance in Europe.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of controls, automation or embedded systems experience.
• Experience releasing control algorithms and software.

Responsibilities

• Own control system design and performance for European air-cooled chillers.
• Lead MATLAB / Simulink based control algorithm development and integration.
• Define, tests and validate protection, safety and performance features.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with global teams across Europe.
• Ensure compliance with European machinery, safety and EMC standards.
