CMI Recruitment partnered with a respected Irish construction group to recruit a senior Contracts Manager who will own pricing, estimation, tendering and the growth of a new contracts department across residential and commercial projects.

You will operate at board level, leverage an established contractor network, and shape processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and with sustainable profitability from Ireland.

An established group of construction companies – with over 40 years in the industry – has recently formed a partnership with a well-regarded Tier 2 contractor, and is now building out its contracts function. We are looking for a senior Contracts Manager ready to step up: to make the calls, shape a department and help grow the business from the ground up.

The Role:

• Lead the delivery of residential and commercial projects – on time, on budget and to profit.
• Own pricing, estimation, tendering and bidding, keeping a steady pipeline of third-party work coming through the door.
• Build out and develop the contracts department, with the autonomy to shape how it runs.
• Engage your trusted network of contractors and subcontractors, bringing in the right people at short notice when projects demand it.
• Work at board level, contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the business.

What You'll Bring:

• At least 15 years' experience in the construction industry, with proven, steady career progression.
• Strong, demonstrable pricing and estimation experience across both residential and commercial projects.
• An established, reliable network of contractors you can call on and trust to deliver.
• A commercial mindset – you understand that consistent tendering and winning third-party work is what keeps the business growing.
• The drive and judgement to take on decision-making responsibility and develop a department.
• \"Background in civil engineering or Quantity Surveying that are relevant to construction projects is a must along with qualifications
