Job summary

Ward Personnel recruits for a Tier 2 main contractor in Dublin seeking a Contracts Manager to lead multiple live projects from pre-construction to handover. Based in Dublin, you will oversee site teams, drive programme delivery, ensure HSE/BCAR compliance, and collaborate with the QS and commercial teams to protect margins.

The role requires delivering large residential, hotel, or mixed-use schemes, with strong leadership and commercial acumen to manage several teams across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a main contractor.
• Track record of delivering large residential, hotel, or mixed-use schemes.
• Degree in construction management or related discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to run several teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site teams, including Project Managers and Site Managers.
• Own programme, quality, and safety performance across your projects.
• Work with the QS team on cost reporting, variations, and margin protection.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client, design team, and key subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement and performance alongside the commercial team.

Our client is a Tier 2 main contractor with a strong live order book across the hotel and residential sectors. Current projects include a 200-bed hotel and two apartment schemes of 150 and 200 units. Due to both continued growth, they are hiring a Contracts Manager to join the senior delivery team in Dublin.

The role

The Contracts Manager will take overall responsibility for delivery of multiple live projects from pre-construction through to handover.

• Lead the site teams, including Project Managers and Site Managers.
