Construction Contracts Manager

Job summary

Falcon Green, a leading Irish main contractor, is seeking a contracts manager in the Dublin region to oversee one of our large-scale sites.

You will manage a sizeable on-site team, coordinate with clients and design teams, and ensure delivery meets safety, quality and environmental standards with a focus on sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management or relevant site based construction exp built up along with trades background
• 5+ years in a similar position in Ireland or the UK
• Ability to deliver large scale building projects from greenfield through to PC
• Strong CV with long stints in previous positions

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Management of one of the large-scale sites reporting directly to the Construction Director.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project, managing a large staff and ensuring that the client’s requirements are met whilst maintaining the highest Safety, Quality and environmental standards.
• The project must be delivered with a focus on sustainability. From design through delivery.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both client and design team.
• Be the main Point of contact for the client with responsibility for engaging with the client in conjunction with the commercial manager on site commercial decisions.
• Provide leadership to the project construction team to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, Health & Safety, and environmental standards, in full compliance with the Planning Permission.
• Preparation of the Project Execution Plan including Contracting Strategy, Programme, budget, and risks mitigation plan.
• Responsible for managing the daily operation of the site.
• Management of the Project Budget and Contract Administration in conjunction with the Project Quantity Surveyor.
• Liaison with Planning/Development Team to ensure project value-engineered during the Pre-Construction Stage.
• Coordination of key project stakeholders including statutory authorities and liaison with JV Project partners if necessary.

One of Irelands leading main contractors with a healthy pipeline of work in Dublin, and multiple new projects in the pipeline for early 2027 require a contracts manager in the region.

Ideal candidates will be capable of managing multiple large scale building projects simultaneously as a contracts manager, and have tier1 main contracting experience preferably in Ireland.
