Job summary

Cronin's Bar & 2 Point Road in Crosshaven, Co. Cork, Ireland, is hiring a Chef de Partie on a full‑time, in‑person basis with a pay range of €15–€18 per hour.

The role involves running sections, cooking to high standards, and mentoring junior kitchen staff in a busy pub kitchen environment. We require at least 2 years in a similar kitchen role, strong teamwork and communication, and full work authorisation in Ireland.

Cronin's is one of Cork's most iconic pubs, situated in the beautiful coastal village of Crosshaven. With a loyal local following and a busy seasonal trade, our kitchen at Cronin's and sister venue 2pointroad is a fast‑paced, high‑quality environment where great food and good craic go hand in hand.

We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our crew — someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example on the pass, and is ready to grow into a senior kitchen role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Running sections and supporting the Head Chef & Sous Chef during busy services
• Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent, high standard
• Cooking with fire, fresh and seasonal ingredients
• Setting up and breaking down your section efficiently
• Mentoring junior kitchen staff
• Upholding our HACCP and food safety standards

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar kitchen role
• Strong section work and the ability to work clean under pressure
• A team player who communicates well and takes ownership
• Full work authorisation in Ireland
