Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking experienced Business Product Owners to join a major Banking & Financial Services organisation in Ireland. This business-side role focuses on product strategy, commercial performance and customer outcomes, not a purely technical delivery role.

You will own banking products and propositions, shape roadmaps, pricing and lifecycle management, and partner with Technology, Risk, Operations and Distribution to deliver strategic change.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior Product Management, Product Leadership or Proposition Management role within banking or financial services.
• Demonstrable experience owning banking products or portfolios from a business perspective.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap development and product lifecycle management.
• Experience managing product performance, commercial objectives, pricing and customer propositions.
• Understanding of banking risk, regulatory requirements and product governance.
• Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business and technology functions.
• Experience sponsoring or leading strategic product development and transformation initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to make decisions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the strategic direction, development and evolution of banking products and propositions.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with wider business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Take accountability for product performance, commercial outcomes, customer experience and market competitiveness.
• Lead the development and enhancement of customer propositions, ensuring products meet evolving customer and market requirements.
• Oversee product pricing, commercial modelling, product economics and lifecycle management.
• Ensure products operate within relevant regulatory, risk and governance frameworks.
• Work closely with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Distribution teams to deliver product enhancements and strategic change.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing products, enhance customer journeys and generate additional business value.
• Provide senior business leadership across product-related transformation initiatives.
• Balance customer requirements, commercial objectives, operational considerations and regulatory obligations when making product decisions.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to influence product strategy, investment decisions and business priorities.
