Job summary

IT Search in Ireland is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner for a leading international banking organisation, with hybrid working in Dublin 2. You will own the technical product roadmap for Deposits and Core Banking platforms and collaborate with business, technology and vendor stakeholders.

You will translate regulatory and operational requirements into technical deliverables, drive Agile delivery, and mentor a technology delivery team, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance standards

IT Search is recruiting a Senior Technical Product Owner for a leading international banking organisation (Hybrid working in Dublin 2)

This is a senior technology position with responsibility for the delivery and ongoing development of core banking and deposit management platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors, taking ownership of product backlogs, technology roadmaps and delivery priorities across a complex banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the technical product roadmap and backlog for Deposits and Core Banking platforms.
• Translate business, regulatory and operational requirements into technical deliverables.
• Lead Agile product delivery, including backlog prioritisation, sprint planning and acceptance of completed work.
• Oversee enhancements, upgrades and ongoing development of the Core Banking platform.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture, operations, risk and compliance teams.
• Manage technology vendors and cross-platform dependencies.
• Lead and mentor a technology delivery team.

Required

• Strong experience as a Technical Product Owner, Platform Owner or similar role within banking technology.
• Good understanding of core banking systems, deposit products and transaction processing.
• Experience managing technical product backlogs and delivering complex technology change.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and software development processes.
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Exposure to core banking platforms such as Fiserv Profile or similar would be advantageous.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing external vendors.
