Broadridge is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in Dublin to join the Securities-Based Lending Engineering team. You will contribute to a cloud-native lending platform used by wealth managers and financial institutions globally, focusing on Python, FastAPI, Java and Spring Boot, and AWS-based backend services.

You'll design, develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices, participate in architecture reviews, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across Product, QA, UX and

Qualificações

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Python with FastAPI and in Java with Spring Boot.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Git.
• Cloud-native development on AWS (ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Strong automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend services for the SBL platform.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, implement and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud-native services on AWS and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews, improving quality and standards.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX and Engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
