Broadridge Financial Solutions in Dublin is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the Securities-Based Lending (SBL) Engineering team. You will design, develop and maintain cloud-native backend services using Python, FastAPI, Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on REST APIs, microservices and scalable architectures.

You will work in an Agile team across Product, QA, UX and Engineering, contribute to CI/CD pipelines on AWS, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality,

Qualificações

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot; design of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other enterprise relational databases.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environments and Git workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Python, FastAPI, Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, API-first backend services and microservices.
• Develop and secure cloud-native services on AWS with CI/CD.
• Participate in architecture reviews and code quality improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product QA UX teams.
