Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist in Meath to lead design and delivery across multiunit residential, commercial and healthcare projects in Ireland. This role requires driving projects from planning through to completion while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on-site and off-site.

The candidate should have a degree in Architectural Technology or Architecture, 10+ years of architectural experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Strong construction detailing knowledge and project delivery experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and detailing from planning to construction for residential and commercial developments.
• Prepare planning, tender and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with internal team and external consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and planning legislation.
• Review construction details, specifications and technical submissions.
• Monitor programme and progress and deliver projects on site.
• Attend site inspections and coordination meetings.

A growing property development and construction consultancy in Meath have a new opportunity for a senior level Architectural Technologist to join the team and assist in delivering multiunit residential, commercial and healthcare projects across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist / Project Lead seeking an opportunity closer to home in Meath or surrounding area and lead projects from planning through to completion, working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

The Senior Architectural Technologist will lead project coordination, technical design and delivery across multiple residential, commercial and healthcare developments, ensuring projects are completed on time / budget to the highest standards.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Lead technical design and detailing from planning to construction stage for residential and commercial developments


• Prepare planning, tender and construction documentation


• Coordinate with internal team and external consultants


• Ensure compliance with current Building Regulations and planning legislation


• Review construction details, specifications and technical submissions


• Monitor programme, timelines, progress and project delivery on site


• Attend site inspections and coordination meetings

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Architectural Technology or Architecture


• 10 years+ architectural experience


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other software


• Strong understanding of construction detailing and project delivery


• Proven success managing and delivering projects from inception to delivery


• Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction standards is essential


• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills


• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously


• Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland is essential
