Job summary

SSA Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead the technical development and delivery of projects across all work stages, with a strong focus on Revit.

You will coordinate with external consultants, attend client and site meetings, perform site inspections, and mentor junior staff while upholding Irish Building Regulations and BCAR compliance. This is a design-led, fast-paced role offering career progression within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years’ professional experience, preferably within the Irish market.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations, planning processes, and BCAR compliance.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project documentation.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

SSA are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist on behalf of our client, an Architecture Firm, in Dublin.

Our client are well known and respected firm in Dublin City Centre who are looking to expand their team after securing a number of projects in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and delivery of projects across all RIBA/RIAI work stages
• Produce and coordinate detailed drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation using Revit
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR requirements, fire safety standards, and accessibility legislation
• Attend client, design team, and site meetings as required
• Carry out site inspections and review construction progress
• Mentor junior technologists and support the development of office technical standards
