Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Senior Account Executive to grow its Data Centre business in Ireland. This senior commercial role targets experienced data centre specialists with networks across hyperscale, cloud, colocation and enterprise customers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of developing strategic relationships and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships, while understanding the Irish data centre market and the standards expected by global customers

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling to hyperscale, cloud, colocation or major enterprise data centre customers.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish data centre market.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Commercial credibility in mission-critical environments.
• Ability to work effectively with technical, operational and programme teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans for data centre customers in Ireland.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across security, operations, procurement, construction, design and executive teams.
• Identify and progress opportunities across physical security, access control, video surveillance, perimeter protection, service and maintenance.
• Position Convergint in high-availability environments where uptime, compliance, resilience and consistency are critical.
• Lead commercial engagement from early opportunity through proposal, negotiation and close.
• Work with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and deliverable.
• Support regional and global account activity where Irish customers form part of a wider programme.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, accurate forecasts and clear account intelligence.

Convergint is seeking to appoint a Senior Account Executive to support the continued growth of its Data Centre business in Ireland.

This is a senior commercial role for an experienced data centre specialist with an established network across hyperscale, cloud, colocation and enterprise customers. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of developing strategic relationships, identifying major opportunities and converting them into long-term, profitable customer partnerships.

The role will suit someone who understands the Irish data centre market, the pace of mission-critical environments, and the standards expected by global customers operating at scale.

The Role:

The Senior Account Executive will develop and manage strategic data centre accounts, positioning Convergint as a trusted security and technology integration partner across new-build, expansion, upgrade and service opportunities.

Working closely with technical, operational, programme and global account teams, the role will involve building senior-level customer relationships, shaping opportunities, leading complex sales cycles and supporting account growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute account plans for data centre customers in Ireland.

Experience Required:

We are looking for a candidate with direct experience in the data centre sector, including a proven record of selling to, developing or managing relationships with hyperscale, cloud, colocation or major enterprise data centre customers.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Strong knowledge of the Irish data centre market.
• Existing senior-level customer relationships within the sector.
• Experience of complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Commercial credibility in mission-critical environments.
• Ability to work effectively with technical, operational and programme teams.

Candidate Profile:

This role is best suited to a commercially mature, relationship-led professional who is already credible in the data centre market. The successful candidate will be confident engaging with senior customers, disciplined in managing opportunities and comfortable working as part of a wider team.

While Convergint welcomes diverse backgrounds, this appointment requires direct data centre experience. It is not designed as an entry point from unrelated sectors, but for someone who already understands the vertical and can contribute quickly.
