Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting for an Education Sales role covering Dublin North and Dublin West. The Sales Executive will build relationships with primary and secondary schools, promoting print and digital solutions and driving new business.

This field-based role involves 5 days on the road, with a base salary of €40-45k plus commission; benefits include a car, mobile, phone, lunch allowance, and full training.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or comparable sales experience; education sector knowledge preferable.
• Proven sales experience and a customer-focused approach.
• Strong relationship builder, able to work independently and accountable for results.
• Experience selling into schools a huge advantage.
• Able to identify and sell solutions based on customer needs.
• Confident presenter, comfortable with digital tools and CRM.
• Commercially aware, data-driven, and adaptable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and market-share targets through effective territory planning.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities in Primary and Secondary schools within your Territory.
• Promote print and digital solutions via school visits, presentations, and remote engagement.
• Build lasting relationships with school staff, understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM.
• Share market and competitor insights with the business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth and support events.
• 5 days out on the road building new business and managing existing business.

Working for an Irish owned family run business that is over 60 years old. They are hugely successful and are one of Ireland's largest educational publishers. They create school textbooks, learning programmes and digital resources for primary and secondary schools

Due to Expansion and Success, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Executive to cover Dublin North and Dublin West.
