Job summary

The BD Desk in Galway City is recruiting a Trainee Sales Executive for a well-established, family-run main dealership. Training covers product knowledge, the sales process, finance and insurance before taking on targets.

No prior car sales experience is required, only drive, motivation and a customer-first attitude. After training you will sell new and used vehicles, build lasting customer relationships, and aim to exceed monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer-facing experience (retail experience is ideal).
• Ambitious, driven personality with a customer-first attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Great attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
• A full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used vehicles against monthly targets.
• Build strong relationships with customers before and after the sale.
• Explain vehicle features, performance and benefits with confidence.
• Close sales profitably, including vehicle finance and insurance products.
• Keep up to date on models, pricing and competitor products.
• Report on activity and results to the Sales Manager.

Galway City | Full-time, Permanent | €28,000 to €35,000 basic + commission (OTE up to €65,000) + car and fuel

The BD Desk is recruiting a Trainee Sales Executive for a well-established, family-run main dealership in Galway City. They represent several of the best-known car brands in Ireland and are known for looking after their people and rewarding performance.

This is a genuine chance to start a career in motor sales. You'll be trained in the products, the sales process, finance and insurance before taking on your own targets, so you don't need car sales experience. You do need drive, a customer-first attitude and an appetite to learn.

What you'll do (after training)

• Sell new and used vehicles against monthly targets
• Build strong relationships with customers before and after the sale
