Job summary

RECRUITERS is seeking an Internal Sales Representative for an onsite role in Ballymount, Ireland. You will build strong customer relationships, handle quotations, and support growth of existing accounts through professional phone and email communication.

The role combines sales, customer service and administration, with possibilities to participate in trade shows and travel as required. Prior experience in sales support in wholesale/electrical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships through inbound and outbound calls and email, identifying customer needs and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate quotations and follow up on open opportunities to convert inquiries into orders.
• Coordinate customer orders with purchasing, operations, logistics, accounts, marketing and external sales teams.
• Maintain records of customer activity, quotations and pipeline information for reporting and insights.
• Represent the business at trade shows and events with occasional travel as required.

As an Internal Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in building strong customer relationships and supporting the growth of existing accounts. You'll engage with customers through professional phone and email communication, prepare accurate and timely quotations, and work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver an excellent customer experience.

This is a varied role combining sales, customer service and administration, with opportunities to represent the business at trade shows and occasional travel as required.

What does my day-to-day look like ?

• Manage customer relationships through inbound and outbound calls, email communication and proactive follow-up, identifying customer needs and supporting new and repeat business opportunities.
• Drive sales opportunities by preparing accurate quotations, following up on open opportunities, addressing customer queries and objections, and supporting the conversion of enquiries into orders.
• Coordinate customer orders by ensuring accurate details, pricing and availability, while working closely with purchasing, operations, logistics, accounts, marketing and external sales teams.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting across customer accounts, quotations, sales activity and pipeline information, while sharing relevant customer and market insights with the wider sales team.
• Represent the business professionally at trade shows, exhibitions, customer visits and supplier events, with occasional domestic or international travel as required.

Requirements for the role:

• Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, sales administration or account support is desirable. (Within wholesale/Electrical industry)
• Experience handling customer enquiries and preparing quotations in a sales or commercial environment.
• Knowledge or experience within a product, technical, distribution or trade environment would be an advantage.
• A business, sales or technical qualification is beneficial but not essential.
