Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Ireland is seeking a Road Logistics Operations Specialist to join the Dublin team. You will support day-to-day operations, coordinate trailer planning, and ensure timely communications with customers across Ireland and Europe.

The role requires a strong customer-service mindset, excellent written and verbal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will work both independently and as part of the Road Logistics team to deliver on our promises.

Qualifications

• Experience in Road Logistics with strong customer-service skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate internally in a correct manner.
• Strong written communication skills are crucial.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operations in a busy office environment to include dealing with customers, customs clearance, billing, status updates and administrative duties.
• Trailer planning, transport and distribution within Ireland and Europe.
• Follow GDP guidelines for Pharma products and adhere to all SOPs related to the products.
• Delivery and collection scheduling and liaison with carriers, hauliers and third parties.
• Build and develop relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth.
• Coordinate with UK and EU partners to maintain proactive, high-quality operational performance.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the role to ensure full ownership.
• Handle all customer phone sales and queries.
