Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Ireland is seeking a Road Logistics Operations Specialist to join the Dublin team. You will support day-to-day operations, coordinate trailer planning, and ensure timely communications with customers across Ireland and Europe.

The role requires a strong customer-service mindset, excellent written and verbal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will work both independently and as part of the Road Logistics team to deliver on our promises.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operations in a busy office environment to include dealing with customers, customs clearance, billing, status updates and administrative duties.
• Trailer planning, transport and distribution within Ireland and Europe.
• Follow GDP guidelines for Pharma products and adhere to all SOPs related to the products.
• Delivery and collection scheduling and liaison with carriers, hauliers and third parties.
• Build and develop relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth.
• Coordinate with UK and EU partners to maintain proactive, high-quality operational performance.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the role to ensure full ownership.
• Handle all customer phone sales and queries.

We are looking for a highly motivated Road Logistics Operations Specialist to join us in Dublin. The role requires a team player to become a key member of the Road Logistics Team. You will work within the team, but also on your own initiative, communications and solutions need to be provided in a timely, efficient manner to end customers.

How you create impact

• Day to day operations in a busy office environment to include dealing with customers, customs clearance, billing, status updates and any additional reports and administration duties
• Trailer Planning, transport and distribution within Ireland and Europe
• Be aware of the importance of following Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for Pharma products and following all the SOPs concerned with the products
• Delivery, collection scheduling and dealing with carriers, hauliers and third parties
• Build and develop good relationships with both existing and potential customers to ensure business retention and growth
• Liaise with UK and EU partners to ensure the department is proactive in providing a quality operational performance
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the role to ensure full ownership
• Deal with all customer phone sales and customer queries
