Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive for a leading roofing and aluminium rainwater supplier in Ireland. The role involves 4 days on the road weekly, engaging with merchants and contractors across regions, and offers real autonomy and variety.

You will split time between driving merchant sales, promoting aluminium rainwater products, and handling pricing/admin. Long sales cycles are expected, with no targets for the first 6 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales, ideally in roofing or building materials.
• Ability to engage installers and contractors with a hands-on approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive merchant sales across regions and promote aluminium rainwater products.
• Handle pricing and admin tasks to support sales activity.
• Visit sites, provide demonstrations, and build relationships with contractors.
• Manage long sales cycles with autonomy and realistic planning.
