Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Manager for the Belfast site. This night-time role runs 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, 21:00–05:00, and requires a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Cleaning Manager with progression in the industry.
• Experience working within multi-site operations.
• Strong management skills with ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team.
• Confident liaising with clients and leading presentations/meetings.
• Hands-on approach to cleaning and knowledge of industry machinery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of different units.
• Perform cleaning tasks to high standards per training and machinery use.
• Create staff schedules and manage holidays.
• Conduct onsite quality audits.
• Manage cleaning stocks, materials and PPE.
• Liaise with clients and central support; attend meetings.
• Address complaints promptly and professionally.
• Train staff and lead the team to meet goals and standards.

The Role:

• Responsibility for the day to day management of differant units
• Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standard according to company training, including the use of cleaning machinery.
• Composing staff schedules and management of staff holidays
• Completing onsite quality Audits
• Replenishment and control of cleaning stocks, materials and PPE.
• Liaising withclients, central support functions and attending departmental meetings
• Dealing with complaints as they arise in a timely and professional manner.
• Conducting and recording staff training and leading the team to reach goals and maintain standards.

The Person:

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cleaning Manager with a strong and progressive career background within the industry
• Have proven experience of working within multi-site operations
• Be astrong manager with the proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team
• Be confident in liaising with clients as well as leading presentations and meetings
• Have a hands on approach in all areas of cleaning
• Be up to date with the latest industry machinery and concepts and be able to demonstrate this knowledge at interview level
• Be genuinely passionate about their field
• Be able to think logistically and work under pressure whilst remaining calm and professional at all times
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
