Job summary

BoyleSports seeks a Customer Service Assistant in Tralee to enhance the in-store customer journey. You will support the Shop Manager, open/close the shop, manage cash, and ensure high standards throughout the day.

In this role you will handle bets via EPOS/terminals, promote in-store and online products, and maintain a welcoming, knowledgeable service for customers. A friendly, proactive team player with numeracy is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with day-to-day running of the shop.
• Open and close the shop; guide the shop team and cash procedures.
• Possess opportunities for occasional management responsibilities and development.
• Balance speed and accuracy while upskilling through on-the-job training.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in a busy betting environment.
• Process bets via terminals and EPOS system accurately and efficiently.
• Introduce customers to BoyleSports multi-channel and digital offerings.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and compliance with procedures.
• Work well under pressure while seeking to improve the shop continuously.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
