Job summary

Job Description

Metro Cafes Limited is seeking to recruit a full‑time Restaurant Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of its restaurant in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. The role involves supervising and motivating staff, coordinating recruitment and training, preparing work schedules, monitoring performance, managing stock control and supplier relationships, overseeing budgets and cost control, implementing strategies to improve sales and profitability, handling customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, and employment legislation, and working closely with senior management to achieve commercial objectives.

Applicants should possess strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, together with experience in restaurant management and the ability to manage a fast‑paced hospitality environment. A relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
