Job summary

The Montenotte in Cork is seeking a Host to join the Breakfast and Dinner teams. You will warmly welcome guests, ascertain dining needs, and manage seating to ensure smooth flow and guest satisfaction.

As part of the Food & Beverage team, you will support brand standards, assist with side duties, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver memorable guest experiences in a luxury setting by the harbour.

Responsibilities

• To welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• To ascertain their dining/lodging needs.
• To seat guests and manage the seating chart.
• To monitor the restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• To respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• To perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
• To assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• To help fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
• To follow agreed Brand Standards for service of Food & Beverage.
• To deal with any customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• To ensure any complaints and incidents are brought to your manager or supervisors attention at the time.
• To ensure cleanliness levels are maintained to a high standard in the bar and restaurant.

We are now looking for a Host to join the Breakfast team and our Dinner team!
