Job summary

The Montenotte Hotel in Cork City is seeking an Accommodation Linen Porter to join our Accommodation team. You will handle guest laundry, linen logistics and help maintain spotless public areas while delivering a warm, professional guest experience.

• Experience in a similar role in a hotel of a similar standard.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and work as part of the Accommodation team.
• Organise and collect laundry and linens and store correctly.
• Assist with linen orders and deliveries on weekends.
• Ensure guest corridors and public areas are clean and serviced to standard.
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Support guest requests and uphold service excellence.

We are now looking for an Accommodation Linen Porterwith experience in the Hotel Industry to join the Accommodation team!

The Person:The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role in a hotel of a similar standard and quality
• Must be flexible, enjoy a challenge and is able to work outside the comfort zone while maintaining the ability to be objective and positive
• Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
• Must be a team player with the ability to multitask.
• Must be standards driven and detail orientated.
• Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance.

The Role:You will be required to:

• To greet all guests in a warm and a friendly manner
• To work as part of the Accommodation team & assist where required
• To organise and collect all laundry and store correctly.
• To help with the linen orders & deliveries on weekends.
• To ensure guest corridors and public areas are cleaned and serviced to the required standard.
• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department
• To assist with guest requests when necessary.
• To develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments.
