Located in Highland, NY, this position offers a part-time schedule from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm with pay range $18.50 to $21.48 per hour, depending on experience. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary School graduate preferred.
• 6 months kitchen experience minimum.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and portion control preferred.
• Familiarity with HACCP and safe food handling preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Commitment to excellent service for residents, families, staff.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and serve menu items according to production sheets, standardized recipes, therapeutic diets, and modified food consistencies.
• Ensure proper food handling, portion control, storage, labeling, dating, and temperature monitoring in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen while following infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Prepare meals for special events and functions as needed; monitor kitchen equipment and report hazards or incidents.
• Provide guidance and oversight to Dietary Aides in the absence of supervisory staff.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures.
