Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager for an established international renewable energy client in Ireland. You will deliver large-scale construction projects safely, on time and within budget, while maintaining high quality and effective client engagement.

You will develop plans, manage budgets, coordinate design and procurement, and lead on-site teams and subcontractors across multiple projects. Hybrid work flexibility is available depending on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy, construction, engineering, electrical or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience managing construction projects, budgets, schedules and subcontractors.
• Demonstrable experience leading site teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, quality assurance and project risk management.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or solar PV projects would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and resolving issues.
• Manage project risks, costs and contracts while identifying opportunities to improve project performance.
• Ensure all works meet required Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Oversee project documentation and ensure a smooth commissioning and handover process.

• Work on large-scale renewable energy construction projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

About Your New Job

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for successfully delivering renewable energy construction projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will:
