Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver renewable energy construction projects across Ireland. You will manage plans, budgets and schedules, coordinate design, procurement and commissioning, and lead site teams to ensure high standards of safety and quality.

You will act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, drive risk management, and ensure a smooth handover at project completion. Based in Ireland with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in renewable energy, construction, or infrastructure.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and subcontractors.
• Experience leading site teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong health, safety, quality assurance and risk management knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or solar PV projects would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline is desirable.
• You must be based in Ireland and available to work on projects across Ireland.

About Your New Job

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for successfully delivering renewable energy construction projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, contractors and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and resolving issues.
• Manage project risks, costs and contracts while identifying opportunities to improve project performance.
• Ensure all works meet required Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Oversee project documentation and ensure a smooth commissioning and handover process.

What Skills You Need

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within renewable energy, construction, engineering, electrical or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience managing construction projects, budgets, schedules and subcontractors.
• Demonstrable experience leading site teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, quality assurance and project risk management.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in renewable energy or solar PV projects would be highly advantageous.
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline is desirable.
• You must be based in Ireland and available to work on projects across Ireland.
