Jobgether in Ireland seeks an Engineering Manager - Linux Hardware Enablement to lead a distributed team focused on Ubuntu integrations across IoT, PC, and server hardware. You will partner with silicon providers to deliver features, optimize the Linux stack, and ensure quality across platforms.

You will coach engineers, shape technical direction, and align roadmaps with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, international setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux distributions, strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Debian and packaging.
• Experience leading software engineering teams, coaching and performance development.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with customers or external partners, translating technical challenges into solutions.
• Understanding of agile software development in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed engineering team delivering Ubuntu integrations for hardware platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across the Linux stack with partners to enable hardware features and performance improvements.
• Build relationships with commercial and technology partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee partner engagements and ensure milestones are met with high quality.
• Coach and develop engineers; influence technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and organisations; drive continuous improvement.
