Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer for a fully distributed role based in Ireland. You will design, build, and maintain software spanning publishing, e-commerce, social platforms and other open-web products, with a focus on scalable, high-quality systems.

You’ll work in a global team across time zones, embrace open-source collaboration, and ship frequently with CI/CD. Expect opportunities for learning, internal mobility, and occasional in-person gatherings during travel weeks.

Qualifications

• Production‑quality software delivery experience.
• Experience with multiple programming languages and paradigms; willingness to become proficient in PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience with large-scale software systems and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software across a broad product ecosystem.
• Debug and investigate complex technical issues across a distributed stack.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to open-source projects where appropriate.
• Participate in frequent production deployments with CI/CD and peer code reviews.
• Communicate effectively across borders and time zones.
