Zusammenfassung

Nexus Recruitment Partners is seeking an Accounting Manager for a fully remote role in Ireland. The position involves leading a team of qualified and trainee accountants, managing a portfolio of clients, and driving service quality and profitability.

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will oversee client relationships, team development, and delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services, with a focus on growth and process improvements in a growing practice.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA or FCA qualified.
• Minimum 6 years’ post-qualification experience in accountancy practice.
• People management experience is essential.
• Proven experience managing large or complex client portfolios.
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero and Surf.

Aufgaben

• Manage a client portfolio, overseeing client relationships, retention, revenue and profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of qualified and trainee accountants.
• Oversee workflow, resource allocation and compliance deadlines.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery, quality control and team performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand client services and improve profitability.
• Contribute to business development, process improvements and the wider growth of the practice.
