Downey Osborne is partnering with a growing professional services firm to recruit a Qualified Accountant for a fully remote role across Ireland, offering variety across financial reporting, client advisory, and business support in a collaborative, flexible environment.

The ideal candidate will hold ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent with 5 years post-qualification Irish practice experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within a remote team while delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• 5 years’ post-qualified experience in Irish practice
• Practice experience is advantageous
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities
• Proactive with attention to detail
• Confident working independently within a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Preparing management accounts and financial reports for a varied portfolio of clients
• Supporting clients with day-to-day financial and compliance matters
• Building strong professional relationships and delivering high levels of client service
• Managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines
• Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Supporting process improvement initiatives across finance functions
• Working on ad hoc projects and business support activities
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal projects
