Job summary

Harmony Care is seeking Relief Social Care Workers to support children and young people in residential care settings in Ireland. You will provide direct care, support emotional and development needs, and help implement individual care plans.

The role emphasises safeguarding, team collaboration, and active participation in planning meetings. Relief roles offer flexible scheduling and the chance to contribute to a child-centred, therapeutic environment, under the supervision of a Centre Manager.

Qualifications

• BA in Applied Social Care Work (level 7/8) or equivalent.
• Full clean driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.
• Maintain an understanding of the Safety Statement and Health and Safety risk assessments.
• Ensure the Health and Safety of young people, team members, and visitors through oversight of the premises.
• Report health and safety concerns to the Health and Safety Rep or Centre Manager.
• Support the development of Harmony Care's policies, procedures and best practices.
