Job summary

Harmony Residential Care is seeking a Social Care Worker to support children and young people in care, delivering direct care, emotional support and helping implement Care Plans.

The role requires compassionate, resilient individuals with a BA in Applied Social Care Work and a full clean driving licence; training and development opportunities are provided. Location Portarlington, Co Laois with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• BA in Applied Social Care Work (level 7/8) or equivalent.
• Full clean Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support emotional and developmental needs of children and young people in care.
• Help implement individual Care Plans/Placement Plans and facilitate family time.
• Maintain safeguarding, complete daily records and participate in reviews and meetings.
• Work collaboratively with team and external professionals to support children's wellbeing.
