Harmony Residential Care is looking for Relief Social Care Workers to support children in Dundrum, Co Tipperary. Flexible scheduling options available. You will provide direct care, support emotional and developmental needs, and help implement individual placement plans. Reports to Centre Manager in a Centre-based setting.

The role offers a pathway to develop skills in safeguarding, teamwork, and professional practice within a supportive, child-centred environment.

Qualifications

• BA in Applied Social Care Work (level 7/8) or equivalent.
• Ability to work with children in care and follow safeguarding requirements.
• Full clean driving licence is required.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to organisational policies and procedures.
• Support the development of care/placement plans.
• Build therapeutic, professional and caring relationships with children.
• Ensure safety and well-being in line with the Child Care Act, 1991.
• Attend meetings to advocate for the child’s needs.
• Collaborate with the team and external professionals.
