Job summary

Harmony Care is recruiting Relief Residential Care Workers to support children in care across multiple locations in Offaly, Laois, Tipperary and Limerick. Flexible full-time, part-time and relief roles are available with a focus on compassionate, child-centred support.

As a Residential Care Worker you will provide direct care, help implement Care Plans, and work with a Centre Manager. Training, safeguarding duties and collaboration with professionals are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• BA in Applied Social Care Work required.
• Full driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support the emotional and developmental needs of children.
• Assist with implementing individual Care Plans/Placement Plans.
• Attend Child in Care Reviews and advocate for the child’s needs.
• Adhere to organisational policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and reports and participate in handovers.
