The Q Cafe Company in the West of Ireland is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to support multiple units (Limerick, Clare, Galway). This role involves five days over seven, daytime hours, 40 hours weekly, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during staff shortages or peak periods.

You will provide culinary expertise, supervise staff, manage budgets, and implement menu cycles while maintaining high standards of food preparation and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchen operations.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen and service staff.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health & safety procedures.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Relief Chef Manager to assist in the running of units in the West of Ireland (Limerick/Clare/Galway), working five over seven days, daytime hours, 40 hours a week. You will provide culinary expertise and support to various units during staff shortages or peak periods. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of kitchens and maintain high standards of food preparation and service.

What you'll need:

• Prepare and cook food to the highest standard.
• Supervise and direct kitchen and service staff as required.
• Work with, and order products within agreed budgets as set out by the company.
• Follow and implement menu cycles on a monthly basis.
• Operate the HACCP and Health and Safety procedures in line with legal requirements.

Please Note:

Garda Vetting is a requirement for this role.

Must have own Transport. Travel allowance paid.
