The Q Cafe Company is recruiting a Relief Chef Manager to support kitchens across the South West of Ireland (Cork/Kerry). This role covers five days over seven, with daytime hours totaling 40 hours per week, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high food standards.

You will supervise staff, manage costs within budgets, implement monthly menu cycles, and uphold HACCP and safety procedures. Garda Vetting is required; own transport is essential with travel allowances provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a chef in various culinary environments.
• In-depth knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in high pressure situations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is an advantage but not essential.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Relief Chef Manager to assist in the running of units in the South West of Ireland (Cork/Kerry), working five over seven days, daytime hours, 40 hours a week. You will provide culinary expertise and support to various units during staff shortages or peak periods. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of kitchens and maintain high standards of food preparation and service.
