Job summary

Pro Recruitment Ireland is partnering with a Dublin-based technology provider to recruit a Compliance Specialist for the Credit Union sector. The role is on-site in Dublin 12 and permanent, focusing on ensuring products and services meet Irish regulatory standards.

The role requires hands-on regulatory experience, direct interaction with the Central Bank, and translating regulatory changes into practical requirements for technology platforms and client processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Irish credit union/financial services regulation (Central Bank, Consumer Protection Code, AML/CFT, data protection).
• Experience with regulatory returns, inspections or reviews, and regulator correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Act as regulatory SME for credit union sector and translate changes into product/process requirements.
• Be the point of contact for regulatory engagement including returns, inspections, and regulator queries.
• Ensure platform modules support clients' compliance obligations by design.
• Own provider side of DORA and operational resilience including ICT third-party risk and incident reporting readiness.
• Support information-security governance, audits, certifications, and vendor assessments.
• Act as compliance liaison to clients and partners handling due diligence and audit requests.
• Contribute to internal compliance policies and staff awareness.
