Job summary

TrueLayer is seeking a Head of Compliance (PCF-12) to lead regulatory engagement with the Central Bank of Ireland and EU authorities from its Dublin office. You will define the compliance roadmap, oversee policies, monitoring, and reporting, and advise the Board on regulatory risk while fostering a culture of compliance across the business.

In a scaling fintech environment, you will manage AML/CFT, horizon scanning, audits and third‑party engagements, with hybrid working and meaningful equity

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record managing direct relationships with national authorities (CBI/FCA).
• Governance experience advising the Board and Senior Management on regulatory risk.
• Proven ability to design and manage a full compliance program in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of PSD2/PSD3, AML/CTF, Safeguarding, DORA and consumer protection.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Engagement: primary contact for CBI and EU authorities with transparent communications.
• Strategic Oversight: define and execute the compliance roadmap and controls.
• Board Advisory: provide guidance on regulatory requirements and implications of business initiatives.
• Compliance Monitoring & Reporting: oversee second-line monitoring and board reporting.
• Governance & Policy Management: maintain and distribute compliant policies.
• Regulatory Reporting Oversight: ensure timely, accurate submissions to authorities.
• Training & Compliance Culture: develop training to embed a culture of compliance.
• Horizon Scanning: monitor regulatory changes and advise on operational adjustments.
• AML/CFT: collaborate on AML/CFT processes and sanctions.
• Audit & Third-Party Engagement: lead audits and manage auditor relationships.
