Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a focused Recruitment Administrator to join our Public Sector team in Dublin. Based in our Ireland office, you will support recruitment campaigns, manage candidates and clients, and coordinate interviews and documentation with a professional, client-facing approach.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of administration experience, strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude, with comfort using Microsoft Office and coordinating multiple tasks in a busy

The Role

We are looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join our Public Sector Recruitment team, supporting the delivery of recruitment campaigns for Public Sector clients nationwide.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ administration experience who is organised, confident dealing with people and looking to develop their career within a busy, professional environment.

Based in our Dublin office, you will work closely with our recruitment team and engage directly with both clients and candidates, providing administrative and coordination support throughout the recruitment process.

The role is primarily office-based, with some flexibility available following successful completion of probation. The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable with occasional travel to client sites nationwide when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across multiple recruitment campaigns.
  • Liaise directly with Public Sector clients and build strong working relationships.
  • Communicate with candidates by phone and email.
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings and recruitment activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets and recruitment documentation.
  • Manage correspondence and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track campaign activity and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Attend client meetings and recruitment events when required.
  • Support the wider team with general office and recruitment administration.
  • Ensure all documentation and information is accurate and up to date.
About You
  • We are looking for someone with 1–2 years’ administration experience who is:
  • Highly organised and detail oriented.
  • Confident and professional when dealing with clients and candidates.
  • Comfortable working in a busy office environment.
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive, reliable and willing to learn.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Happy to travel to client sites nationwide when required.
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and providing a high level of service.
  • Previous recruitment experience is not essential. We are more interested in your administrative experience, communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively with clients.
