Job summary

Clanree Hotel in Donegal, Ireland, is seeking a full-time and part-time Hotel Receptionist to join our team. Experience in hotel reception is essential, and knowledge of Opera would be an advantage. The role is on-site with a negotiable salary and requires fluent English and strong communication.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and friendly, with the ability to balance cash and deliver excellent guest service during check-in and check-out, by phone or in person.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a Hotel Reception is essential.
• Working knowledge of Opera Reservation system would be an advantage.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Front Office Manager and the team with the smooth running of the reception
• Work as part of a team but also be able to work on their own initiative
• Follow the day-to-day procedures of guest check-in and check-out
• Deal with and resolve guest queries
• The ability to handle cash efficiently
• Balancing and handling of cash
• Providing high level customer services both face to face and over the phone
• Upselling the hotels facilities
