Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Project Manager to lead a major rail infrastructure engagement programme, currently based in Ireland or willing to relocate. The role will coordinate community relations, manage stakeholders and ensure activities align with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement within rail, construction or infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple activities.
• Understanding of public consultation and stakeholder engagement principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver community engagement strategies aligned with project goals.
• Coordinate stakeholder activities with project teams, contractors and comms.
• Integrate engagement requirements into the project plan and monitor delivery.
• Prepare and present reports on engagement activities, outcomes and insights.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to community relations and engagement.
• Monitor legislation and regulatory changes affecting engagement and delivery.
• Support PR and maximise engagement across channels and media.
• Build a knowledgeable, agile team with strong project operations understanding.
