Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Stakeholder Communications Manager to support a major rail and transport infrastructure programme in Ireland. This permanent role oversees stakeholder management and communications across the programme lifecycle to ensure clear, coordinated engagement within a technically complex environment.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and updating stakeholder management strategy, coordinating activities across contracts, and reporting to senior governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in stakeholder management and communications within infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience leading stakeholder activities on high-value rail or metro projects.
• Proven ability to develop strategies, processes and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for senior governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve stakeholder management strategy, processes and reporting.
• Update communications strategies to support project delivery and engagement.
• Coordinate stakeholder activities across the programme lifecycle.
• Develop stakeholder requirements for contractors during procurement.
• Support assessment of contractor submissions against stakeholder requirements.
• Work with delivery partners to coordinate stakeholder management across contracts.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels and drive process improvements.
• Report progress, risks and issues to Project Board and governance teams.
