Shape Recruitment Limited is assisting an Irish-owned Dublin-based commercial fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The role reports to the Commercial Director and focuses on pricing, estimating, supplier management, and final accounts on projects up to €4M.
You will work closely with site teams and senior management to protect profitability and deliver high-quality workmanship. A strong communication style and a career-focused mindset are essential.

We are searching to bring in another experience Quantity Surveyor to support company growth. As QS, you'll report in to the Commercial Director who has been in the industry for over 20 years themselves. They take on projects for Offices, Hotels and Restaurants (Hospitality) and Retail spaces to c.€4M in value and turnover in the region of €30M. Cultural fit is a massive thing here. Work closely with Site Teams and Senior Management within the business to ensure that projects are profitable to pre-agreed %. Depending on your experience and knowledge, you'll be involved in anything from pricing, estimating, appointing and managing various suppliers right through to managing final accounts.
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics/Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying in UK, Ireland, Australia or US, with experience in fit out and/or building projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Good working environment - working within an established, well equipped team. Flexible working as required or a lovely office to work from with plenty of colleagues to work alongside.
