Job summary

The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate for the New Economy and Recovery Authority (NewERA) on a 23-month fixed-term programme starting September 2027. It targets graduates with degrees in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Commerce.

You will work across portfolio companies, supporting financial analysis, briefing notes and recommendations for senior stakeholders, with a focus on climate-related and capital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2.1 honours degree or 2.1 Masters.
• Eligible to work in Ireland (Irish/EEA citizen, Stamp 4, Stamp 1G visa).

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of Portfolio Companies and assist NewERA in financial advisory.
• Prepare accurate, commercially focused reports for Government Ministers.
• Support financial analysis of Portfolio Companies, including reviews of statements and plans.
• Assist with capital investment assessment, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and JVs.
• Support modelling and scenario analysis; research sector trends and prepare briefing notes.
