Job summary

Unijobs is sourcing a Project Support for a public sector client in Ireland. This temporary role runs for 12 months with a hybrid working model and residence in Ireland required. A 35-hour work week applies, with an hourly rate of €28.89 based on an annualised salary of €52,757 and 30 days leave plus public holidays. Agency employee arrangement.

Attendance at meetings will be required, and Garda Vetting/clearance may be needed. Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland at application.

Qualifications

  • Experience of successfully supporting the delivery of projects within an organisation, preferably healthcare.
  • Experience in project planning, report development and project management tools.
  • Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Clinical experience or experience working within clinical teams would be an advantage.

  • Working as part of the function, support the project team in the implementation phase of the programme.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement with regular interactions at national and regional level.
  • Providing project support to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supporting the administrative and clerical aspects of projects to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide support in the deployment of programme tools and templates.
  • Coordinate, schedule and support meetings and activities.
  • Project Support may be allocated to a workstream in the programme and aligned project tasks.

Job description

Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client currently have a requirement for a suitably skilled Project Support.

This is a temporary position; the initial contract duration is for 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter. This location for this position is flexible (must be residing in Ireland) and is also working off a hybrid model, and you must be able to attend meetings when required.

Based off a 35-hour work week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €28.89 based off an annualised salary of €52,757.00 and will accrue 30 days' annual leave per year along with public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Working as part of the function, the project support is expected to support the project team in the implementation phase of the programme.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement with regular interactions at national and regional level.
  • Providing project support to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supporting the administrative and clerical aspects of projects to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide support in the deployment of programme tools and templates.
  • Co-ordinate, schedule and support meetings and activities.
  • Project Support may be allocated to a workstream in the programme and aligned project tasks. This is to ensure efficient use and maximisation of resource expertise and availability for the duration of the contract.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of successfully supporting the delivery of projects within an organisation, preferably (but not necessarily) for healthcare and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
  • Experience of project planning, report development and project management tools.
  • Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
  • Clinical experience or experience working within clinical teams would be an advantage.
Business Competencies:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present information in a confident and logical manner.
  • Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects is maximised.
  • An ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Good ICT, administration, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to support the development and delivery of a project plan.
  • Ability to work with the other project or programme units to ensure that projects are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner.
  • Displays a commitment to achieving quality results.
  • Demonstrates an ability to perform various business analysis activities as deemed necessary for the project.
  • Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility.
