Unijobs on behalf of a public sector client seeks an ICT Project Manager to lead system integration and governance across clinical, operational and technical teams. The role is a 12-month contract with hybrid work and on-site meetings as required.

The package reflects a annualised salary of €61,219, with 30 days annual leave and paid bank holidays. Working 35 hours per week, the role is offered through an agency with competitive hourly rates.

  • Monitor integration risks, dependencies and implementation schedules.
  • Promote interoperability solutions that support continuity of care and information sharing.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, issue logs and dependency trackers.
  • Provide regular progress reports and assurance documentation to governance groups.

The duration of this post is12 monthsinitially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will beFlexible/Hybrid - The successful candidate must be able to attend onsite meetings & workshops as required.


Working35 hours per week,the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of€33.52 per hourbased on anannualised salary of €61,219You willaccrue 30 days annual leaveper year and paid Bank Holidays.


Role Overview:


The successful candidate will be working closely with operational, technical, and stakeholder teams, the Project Manager will coordinate the planning and implementation of key workstreams, manage governance requirements, and help ensure seamless access to information across services.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate the delivery of system integrations between internal and external healthcare and business applications to support the secure exchange of information and efficient service delivery.

  • Work with ICT teams, suppliers and interoperability specialists to ensure integration requirements are clearly defined and implemented.

  • Support testing, validation and deployment of system interfaces and data exchange processes.

  • Monitor integration risks, dependencies and implementation schedules.

  • Promote interoperability solutions that support continuity of care and information sharing across services.

  • Work with ICT teams and other stakeholders to ensure network access, application access and peripheral requirements including printing are clearly understood and implemented.

  • Support programme leadership in the planning, governance and delivery of the infrastructure & integration workstream.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, issue logs and dependency trackers.

  • Monitor milestones, deliverables and implementation activities.

  • Provide regular progress reports, updates and assurance documentation to governance groups.

  • Contribute to programme documentation, business cases and implementation plans.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build productive relationships with clinical, operational, ICT, information governance and supplier stakeholders.

  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions to support configuration design and access management decisions.

  • Translate technical concepts into clear and understandable information for non-technical audiences.

  • Testing, Deployment & Readiness:

  • Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing activities.

  • Work closely with training, change management and operational teams to support successful implementation.

  • Maintain oversight of risks, issues and dependencies within the infrastructure & integration workstream.

  • Support audits, reviews and assurance processes.

  • Foster a collaborative, professional and continuous improvement culture.

  • Support knowledge sharing and capability development across programme teams.


Experience:



  • Experience managing complex stakeholders across clinical, operational and technical environments.

  • Experience in system configuration, implementation or business process design.

  • Experience supporting user access management or information governance processes.

  • Experience coordinating system integration and interoperability workstreams.

  • Experience managing project plans, risks, issues and governance reporting.

  • Experience delivering healthcare ICT, Electronic Health Record (EHR), Electronic Patient Record (EPR) or digital transformation projects.


Skills & Knowledge:



  • Strong project and programme management skills.

  • Knowledge of healthcare information systems and digital health programmes.

  • Understanding of information governance and data protection requirements.

  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability and system integration concepts.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, planning and organisational abilities.

  • Ability to work across clinical, operational and technical teams.

  • Experience preparing governance papers, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
