Job summary

Linkedskills Expert Talent Solutions is recruiting a seasoned Project Manager to lead power and utility infrastructure projects in Dublin. You will own programmes, coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors, manage client relationships and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage power and utility infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Develop, manage and monitor project programmes and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate multiple site crews, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
  • Liaise with clients, utility representatives, local authorities, engineers and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance against programme, cost, quality and safety objectives.
  • Ensure all work complies with project specifications, contractual obligations, company procedures and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project reports, site records and internal management documentation.
  • Identify project risks, delays and operational issues and implement corrective action.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure clear communication across the project team.
  • Support commercial teams with forecasting, variations, cost control and project reporting.
  • Maintain high health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Irish power and utility procedures.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to operational and site teams.
  • Maintain strong and professional client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Manager Power & Utility Infrastructure | Dublin Location: Dublin Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: €70,000 - €100,000 DOE Sector: Power | Utilities | Civil Engineering | Infrastructure Take Ownership of Major Power Infrastructure Projects Linkedskills is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of power and utility infrastructure projects in Dublin. This permanent opportunity is suited to a Project Manager with proven Irish power, ESB Networks or utility infrastructure experience who can take ownership of project programmes, site operations, multiple crews, subcontractors and client relationships. You will be responsible for driving projects from mobilisation through to completion while maintaining control of programme, safety, quality, reporting and commercial performance. Applicants must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Dublin.

Essential Requirements
  • Proven Project Management experience in Ireland within power, ESB Networks or utilities infrastructure.
  • Strong civil engineering and infrastructure project-delivery experience.
  • Experience managing multiple crews, subcontractors and project resources.
  • Experience working directly with clients, utility representatives and local authorities.
  • Strong programme-management, reporting and organisational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage resources, operational challenges and competing project priorities.
  • Minimum Level 8 qualification in engineering, construction or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within civil engineering and regulated utility environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to support cost control, forecasting and variation management.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and commercially aware Project Manager who can take genuine responsibility for project delivery. You must be comfortable leading site operations, managing multiple teams and maintaining control of programme, reporting, safety, quality and client expectations. This is not a general building construction or residential Project Manager position. Candidates must demonstrate directly relevant Irish power or utility infrastructure experience.
