Job summary

AllSite Staffing in Ireland seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead ESB infrastructure projects (HV/MV/LV/EV) from inception to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage commercial aspects, including procurement and client relations.

You will drive programme planning, risk management, and value engineering, while liaising with ESB Networks and authorities to secure approvals and maintain governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years' experience managing utility or civil engineering projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering ESB Networks projects and understanding ESB standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Strong experience in HV, MV, LV, and EV infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Programme planning and risk management capabilities.
• Commercial and contractual management experience.
• Experience obtaining and managing ESB approvals is desirable.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of ESB infrastructure projects from inception through to completion (HV/MV/LV/EV).
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans; ensure cost control, forecasting, variations, and final accounts.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with ESB Networks standards and procedures.
• Liaise with ESB Networks, local authorities, subcontractors, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project teams including engineers, site agents and commercial personnel; monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor management.
• Support tender reviews, project planning, and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and governance requirements are maintained.
• Promote a strong health, safety, environmental, and quality culture across all projects.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.

A leading Irish engineering company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take on a key leadership role within their projects involving HV, MV, LV, and EV infrastructure works.

As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the planning, execution, commercial performance, and successful delivery of multiple ESB projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Experience managing ESB Networks projects and navigating ESB approval processes is highly desirable.

Location: North Dublin
