Job summary

Linkedskills is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Power/ESB utilities projects based in Dublin. You will oversee mobilisation through completion, liaise with clients, local authorities, and site crews, and manage programmes, resources, and safety.

The role requires a minimum Level 8 in engineering or construction, strong reporting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under Irish civil infrastructure standards. Full-time, permanent with DOE in a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Power, ESB and utilities infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate and manage multiple site crews and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, ESB representatives, local authorities, engineers and other project stakeholders.
• Manage project programmes, resources and day-to-day operational requirements.
• Monitor progress against programme, cost, quality and safety requirements.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements and company procedures.
• Oversee site reporting, project documentation and internal management systems.
• Identify project risks, delays and operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate materials, plant, labour and subcontractor requirements.
• Support commercial and project teams with forecasting, variations and project reporting.
• Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across all project activities.

Project Manager Power / ESB Utilities Dublin Location: Dublin Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: €70,000 €100,000 DOE Sector: Civil Engineering / Power / Utilities / ESB Infrastructure Linkedskills is recruiting an experienced Project Manager with Irish Power, ESB or utilities infrastructure experience for a full-time permanent position based in Dublin. This position is suited to an experienced Project Manager who has successfully delivered civil engineering and utility infrastructure projects in Ireland and is comfortable managing clients, local authorities, site crews, programmes, reporting and project delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Power, ESB and utilities infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion.

Essential Requirements

• Previous Project Management experience in Ireland within Power, ESB or utilities infrastructure.
• Strong civil engineering or utilities project delivery background.
• Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Experience dealing directly with clients and local authorities.
• Strong project reporting, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage programmes, resources and competing project priorities.
• Minimum Level 8 qualification in a relevant engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements within civil engineering and utilities environments.

Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be an experienced, commercially aware Project Manager who can take ownership of projects and maintain control of programme, people, client relationships and project delivery. This is not a general building construction Project Manager position. Candidates must demonstrate relevant Irish experience in Power, ESB, or comparable utilityinfrastructure.
