Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Project Manager with 6+ years' experience for a Tier 1 contractor to lead a power project in Wicklow on site. This role focuses on delivering the project from pre-construction through to completion, with emphasis on safety, quality and programme adherence.

You will read and interpret drawings, manage subcontractors and site teams, plan work efficiently to hit targets, liaison with the design team and client representatives, and oversee materials

Qualifications

• Civil/Construction Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated to deliver on safety, quality and schedule.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Full driving license.

Project Manager

Project Manager with 6+ years' experience required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a power project in Wicklow. Our client is ideally looking for a Project Manager with experience on large-scale power or energy infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the project from pre-construction through to completion
• Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Management of subcontractors/site teams
• Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
• Liaise with client's representatives/Design Team members as appropriate
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
• Ordering and control of materials on site.

Requirements:

• Civil/Construction Engineering Degree
• 5+ years' experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving license
